120V to 12V Warren 4-3-12
Can anyone tell me how to change from 120V to 12V power on my 1989 Fleetwood travel trailer? My 120V works fine, but i cannot get power when i unplug the camper. I cannot locate a switch of any kind anywhere.

Thank you
Warren

This is an automatic system.
When you are pluged in a box called a converter provides 12 volt power to the lights and so on. The 110 outlets run directly off the 110 power.
When you un plug the battery takes over. There will be no 110 volt power unless you invest in an expensive box called an inverter.
It sounds like you either dont have a battery or there is a conection problem between it and the converter that also charges the battery.
If you follow the main battery cable it will lead you to a set of 12 volt breakers that are required to be close to the battery by code.
Good Luck
