All Messages in Thread Author Date School type bus to be donated Wesley Bott 5-20-11   I am looking for a bus to transport our middle school athletic teams to and from our games. The JEff Parish Public School System is in another R.I.F.(Reduction in Force) mandate. I resorted to only taking the school busses one way and having parents pick them up at the venue to try and save money. A round trip is $165. One way turned out to be $105, so I didn't save as much money as I would've liked. We would need a bus that could hold 20 to 30 students and equipment. I am trying to shape our field's behind our school to play FB, Soccer, and Baseball so as to cut our bus rides in half. In '09-'10 school yr, we spent $5610 on busses. I am budgeted $2700. 10-11 school yr., we spent $3570 with the 1/2 rides and still budgeted $2700. This bus would help greatly to preserving our sport's teams and keep the kids off the street with positive activities to do.
