Post New Message As long as this is wired like the ones I have worked on it will be wired to Accessory side of the ignition switch or triggered by the alternator starting to charge. The accsesory side of the ignition switch goes off when in the start position. That way the alternator, stereo, wipers, AC, and so on don't draw on the battery when starting. SO Thats how I would wire it up. Stteal power off the stereo feed as long as it wired that way. It could have been re wired to have a sound system while parked. Good Luck
