Hello,
I have only a couple issues yet to get worked out on our 1984 Southwind we bought with low (29K) miles. It has a nice good working smaller 12V (cigarette lighter plug) television in it. I am sure the tv will work fine with a digital converter box and the current rooftop antenna that came on the coach. The TV is in a cabinet in the rear sleeping area, and there is a 12V socket to plug the set in there. Is there a digital converter box I can buy to work off 12V that I can plug in like the TV? I realize I may have to buy a pigtail to make two 12V sockets from the one, to plug in both the TV and converter and that is fine. I just need some guidance to buy a converter box that will work like that, and to do it all from 12V power. That should not be asking too much, and I'm sure it can be done, but am asking ahead of time to avoid wasting money on things that do not work. We would watch tlevision VERY little, but it would be nice to be able to get the local news off from 12V power, as long as we already have a good TV and antenna.
Thanks,
