Sign up now. 1985 ford f-150 by chris I have a 1985 ford f-150 300 straight6 it runs nice but when i turn the ignition off the engine still sputters and keeps on going. any idea what could be wrong? we turned the mixture screw in the carb the hole way in but the engine kept goin when it shoulda died. would that be fuel pump or would i need to rebuild the carb? reply back please All Messages in Thread Author Date 1985 ford f-150 chris 8-28-08   Required fields in red For more info about a field, place your mouse over the icon.
